'Capital Training has a commitment to discipline throughout the structure, from practioners to management. Without discipline & structure there's nothing in the kids lives, especially basic routine which they lack. From what i've seen from Capital Training that's what they strive to do, and the way the company is evolving around the construction industry in regards to the kids'

Tony Smith (Youth Offending Service)

'Capital Training has filled a huge gap for us, it's been an easy company to deal with based on honesty, both ways, in dealing with difficult students. Julie (training centre manager), has been able to take them on, as hard as it has been. The company has been able to give everyone a chance, I know a mother who says she has seen a substantial change in her son, in just 3 weeks, I would not have any hesitation in refering Capital Training to anyone, as they are preparing young people to enter the construction industry with discipline whilst giving them a realistic experience in their convinient indoor & outdoor workshop. I am looking forward to working with Capital Training next year'

Steve Griffiths (Bryn-y-Deryn) education Institution said...

"In September 2007 a group of Gypsy travellers enrolled on a construction course with Capital Training, through Cardiff council's extended opportunities provision, part of the 14-19 learning path-way. The majority of the young people left school at 11, having failed to transfer to High school.
They were supported by a learning mentor and transport until the end of October 2007 when the equal projects European funding ended. The value placed on secondary education by Gypsy Traveller parents is generally small, but the respect and trust generated by Capital Training in their provision for this group meant that the majority of the Group were supported by their families, mainly fathers & therefore attendance continued to be excellent. As most young Gypsy Traveller men work for themselves, skills & qualifications are recognised as a way forward in terms of community, personal development & entrepreneur. We look forward to continuing our partnership working with Capital Training in the future."

'I have been working in partnership with Stuart Shaw of Capital Training on a few of my clients to support them with their training needs. I have been impressed by Capital Training's broad range of courses specifically in the construction sector and the flexibility with which you are prepared to deliver the learning, wether it be through e-learning or workshops within the clients workplace. Stuart has always responded quickly to queries i have had with regards to provision and funding. When visiting clients in the construction sector i always consider Capital Training as a potential provider to put forward to the clients'

Fiona Sullivan
Account Manager (Train to Gain)

'I would like to thankyou on behalf of my husband John Michael Humphreys for all the help and funding so my husband got his NVQ although hes been a carpenter for 44 years this came as quite a shock when he had to have these certificates and without your help it would have been very difficult to fund this by ourselves so thankyou very much and also if we had to have any feedback or questions answered you were very quick in getting back to us so well done and I would recommend your company to anyone you should be proud of such efficient and helpful staff.'

Humphreys Jose

'Overall my dealings with Capital Training were very pleasant. Howard Jones could not have been more helpful and supportive. If all your staff are like Howard, then you have one hell of a crew of staff'.
